When you feel out of control, it is your brain’s deception of self. You are capable of gathering yourself, putting your hands on the steering wheel, and finding the path.
Regaining control is most difficult to do when you feel alone. Alone, you are not.
Regain it through what you have control over:
- Who you spend time with
- What you consume
- How you consume it
- Honesty with yourself and others
- Changing your environment
- Replacement of habits
- Seeking community
You cannot heal in the place you became sick.
