This quote from Peter Drucker:
There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all.
I am all for moving swiftly and quickly in order to grow, but so often in early phase entrepreneurship we find ourselves battling with time and it is the way we behave in that time that actually deters growth. There is not enough time to get all of the areas within a business done. I can guarantee right now there are things you are doing that you are working to optimize that should not be done at all.
Take a step back. Look at your workload and see if there is anything you can stop wasting time optimizing and just not do at all. We often are emotional and believe customers value every thing we do equally…they don’t. Figure out what they don’t care about and do away with it.
