When I was an actor in my early 20’s I had an acting coach that always said, “The people who think they are the best actors are the ones on their couch criticizing the real actors who are on their TV. Take an acting job when it comes your way.”
Being the best is about following through with your dreams and actually making them happen. I would much rather be the worst actor in the world that is making a living doing it on tv, than the “best actor ever” who isn’t working. Put your ego aside. Work, work, and then work some more. That is how you become the best. It’s the same with entrepreneurs. The real ones are the ones that are hustling to make their dream happen. Let the people with all the “better ideas” keep criticizing you for the work you are actually doing off the couch.
