Smarter not harder

Have you ever been talking to the entrepreneur who is bragging about how busy they are, the ridiculous hours they pull and how their personal life is going to shit because they are so focused on building their business?

Distance yourself from that person. They are not an inspiration.

The guy who digs a hole with his hands for twelve straight hours is no doubt working really hard, but it’s not an impressive feat to the guy who used a shovel and dug the same hole in two. It’s foolish. Working smarter allows you to pull reasonable hours, not feel overwhelmed, and actually take care of yourself. Who would have thought? It is worth it to take time weekly to step back and analyze the work you are doing, the projects you have on the to-do list, how effective you are tackling them, and what you can do to improve your efficiency.
